Aiko Tanaka

Aiko, born and raised in Kyoto, Japan, has been teaching Ashtanga for over a decade. Her disciplined yet compassionate teaching style blends tradition with accessibility. Aiko also teaches Yin and Vinyasa, and she often draws from Zen philosophy to deepen the mental clarity in her classes.

Powerful filtering in Greyd.Suite

Below we added in one of the many possibilities to filter with the Greyd Search Block, based on the different yoga styles. When you try that one out for yourself, you will find that you can also do live filtering at an extraordinary speed!

Please note, we’re working on the accessibility of the filters. We believe in progress over perfection, and Anne-Mieke Bovelett, our accessibility mentor explains that very well, in an article. We expect to release the fixes in August 2025.

Currently the accessible alternative is to use our Tabs block. An example of how that is done can be found in the single template for yoga classes. Here is an example of one of the teachers. When you are logged in, and go to the frontend of that page, clicking “Edit Site” will take you to the Teachers Single Template.
