What this training covers

Master the core features of WordPress with Full Site Editing (FSE). Learn how to use native tools to build performant, scalable websites without page builders. You’ll create templates, work with blocks and the Site Editor, build custom post types with Greyd.Suite’s free features, and understand query loops like a pro.

What you will learn

  • Build archive and single templates using WordPress’ Site Editor
  • Set up custom post types and structure content for dynamic output
  • Create layouts with query loops and template parts
  • Rebuild existing page builder layouts using core features

Day-by-day structure

  • Day 1 (Wed) – Introduction to Full Site Editing, using the 2025 theme, overview of templates and block patterns
  • Day 2 (Thu) – Creating custom post types, archive and single templates, and working with query loops using Greyd.Suite’s visual tools
  • Day 3 (Fri) – Building a consistent design system, and rebuilding a legacy site using only WordPress core features
